At Aura Aesthetics Sussex, we are committed to delivering safe, ethical, and legally compliant treatments. Aesthetic medicine may be non-surgical, but it is still a medical practice, and we uphold the same high standards of safety, training, and professionalism that are expected in any clinical setting.

1. Practitioner Qualifications & Insurance

All treatments are carried out by a fully qualified and experienced practitioner who has undergone accredited training in aesthetic medicine. We are also fully insured to perform every procedure offered, giving you peace of mind knowing that you are in safe, regulated hands. All certificates are on display at our Worthing clinic.

2. Consent & Documentation

Prior to any treatment, you will be asked to complete a medical history form and informed consent form. These documents are essential for your safety and must be completed honestly. We’ll also provide a thorough consultation where you can ask questions, and we’ll explain risks, benefits, and expected outcomes so that you can give informed consent with confidence.

3. Age & Legal Eligibility

We strictly adhere to UK law, which prohibits aesthetic treatments for anyone under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. Valid ID may be required to verify age. We are legally required to verify your age before proceeding with any treatment. If you are under 18, or if we have any doubt about your age, we will politely ask for valid photo ID (such as a passport or driving licence) at your appointment. If you are unable to provide suitable ID, we regret that we will not be able to carry out your treatment, and your appointment may be cancelled. This policy is in place to protect you, ensure legal compliance, and uphold the professional standards we are proud to maintain.

4. Advertising & Claims

We comply with ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) and MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) guidelines. This means we do not advertise prescription-only medicines by name and avoid making unrealistic or misleading claims about results.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

Your privacy is protected in accordance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). All client information, photographs, and medical records are stored securely and never shared without your consent.
