Aura Aesthetics Sussex – Clinic Policies
1. Our Promise Policy
Your satisfaction is our priority. If your results are not as expected, we offer complimentary review appointments to assess and adjust treatments where appropriate. This policy is in place to protect you and ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes.
2. Consultation Policy
A thorough consultation is required before any new treatment. This ensures we understand your goals, medical history, and suitability for your chosen procedure. Consultations are complimentary and obligation-free.
3. Booking & Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment. This will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment. Deposits ensure fairness and prevent missed appointments.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a loss of deposit or a rebooking fee. We appreciate your understanding in respecting our time and other clients’ appointments.
5. Age Policy
Treatments are strictly available to clients aged 18 and over. We reserve the right to request valid photo ID if necessary.
6. Medical Suitability
Your health and safety are paramount. We reserve the right to decline treatment if it is not deemed medically appropriate, even after consultation. Your wellbeing always comes first.
7. Results & Maintenance
While we aim for the best results, every individual responds differently. Longevity and outcome can vary depending on lifestyle, anatomy, and skin type. Maintenance appointments may be required to sustain results.
8. Aftercare Policy
Following aftercare instructions is essential to achieving optimal results. Full aftercare advice will be provided post-treatment. We’re also available for any questions or concerns during your recovery.
9. Photography & Documentation
Before and after photos are taken for medical documentation and treatment tracking. These remain confidential unless express permission is given for marketing purposes.
10. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of aesthetic treatments, we do not offer refunds for services rendered. However, if you’re dissatisfied, we invite you to book a review as part of our Promise Policy.
Maintaining Ethical Practice
At Aura Aesthetics Sussex, your emotional wellbeing is just as important to us as your physical appearance. Our practitioner Shannon is professionally trained to identify potential signs of Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)—a mental health condition where a person becomes overly focused on perceived flaws in their appearance, often seeing things that others do not.
As trained professionals, we take our duty of care very seriously. During your consultation, we not only assess your suitability for treatment from a medical perspective, but also from a psychological and ethical one. If we feel that you may be seeking treatment for reasons that are influenced by body dysmorphia or unrealistic expectations, we may gently advise against proceeding. In some cases, we may decline to treat if we feel it is not in your best interest.
